Abstract: the meaning of the word 'Zion' is 'Self is the root cause of everything'. To elaborate. The current consensus is that the etymology of the word 'Zion' is uncertain and that it appears to have various meanings and interpretations depending on the context and culture. In Hebrew, 'Zion (צִיּוֹן)' is a term used to refer to the highest point or hill in Jerusalem or to the entire city of Jerusalem itself. It is said that it also has spiritual and symbolic meanings in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions. I posit that we must look a little bit deeper so to find our common roots, our common origin. I propose that we turn to the Sanskrit language, where we find the word 'Sayoni (सयोनि),' meaning 'having the same womb, uterine, having a common origin with' as referenced in the Rig-veda and Atharva-veda, 'connected with the womb or place of origin or birth-place' as referenced in the Atharva-veda and Taittirīya-saṃhitā. However upon deeper investigation we find that the Sanskrit word 'Sayoni (सयोनि)' is composed of the Sanskrit word 'Śā- (शा)' meaning 'Self' (for 'Śā- (शा)' is synonymous with 'Śvā (श्वा)' meaning 'Self'; this also being the root of the English word Swan) and '-Yoni (योनि) meaning the 'root cause of everything'. The argument I am making is two-fold: (I) the word 'Zion' was likely introduced to the Hebrew language through cultural contact. (II) The origin of Self is Self not wanting to be by itself and the purpose of Self, hence also the meaning of Life, is Companionship also known as Love. Based on the above evidence I respectfully request that we in the field of science, be it Biology, Cosmology, Physics, Politics and whatnot, re-align ourselves to bringing the One Truth: ~ the Gospel of Love ~
