Life is the result of Self desiring not to be by itself. It is an awesome BioLogical statement and a valid one too. It could as such be said that the purpose of Self is Companionship otherwise known as Love which is why Self is Diverse in Life. Simpler still. Life's purpose is Companionship otherwise known as Love. That's just the way it is. Now the question of all question comes; the one all the sages throughout the ages have pondered about. Why is there suffering when the primordial purpose is the exact opposite? That’s quite a paradox. The reason is this. The purpose of Self is not to be by itself. The purpose of Self is to be able to experience Companionship itself. Companionship can only be experienced by perceiving Oneself as separate. But all separation is Self. It is why the word separation starts with Se- which in the purest etymological understanding does not mean apart but first and foremost Self. Regardless. There are two sides to the coin of creation/evolution (love in action): (I) by perceiving itself as separate Self can experience Companionship, Friendship, Love and this is what Self is all about. (II) by perceiving itself as separate Self also causes itself hardship such as anxiety and suffering. The thing to remember is that the joy of life, being able to experience companionship i.e. love far outweighs the hardship. And anxiety can be overcome when we realize who we are and especially why we are. We are here not to fight each other; we are here for companionship, for friendship, for love so the advice here thus is to love, to simply love. Perhaps this knowledge would normally not be necessary but going to war against oneself is not necessary either. Hence.
