let's face it; we are children who reluctantly act as adults this although we just want to play with each other. now i am not a fan of the word playfulness but what playfulness really means is that it is not good for self to be by itself which is why self is here; friendship really. and yes, friendship is synonymous with companionship and love. any distinction is ultimately irrelevant.
