One of the biggest misconceptions is that Shiva is a destroyer of everything for the simple reason that everything is Shiva. What is true is that Shiva is in constant motion. Without being in (constant) motion Shiva could not experience (constant) companionship. And companionship* is what Shiva is all about. (* love)
