The Self 'is' Love; the illusion happens when the Self does not see itself as such. Love is the True Nature of the Self. The state of माया 'is' the illusory state; सच्चिदानन्द aka आत्मप्रेम 'is' the Self-state (aka Eigenstate); it always 'is'. What it means is that both God and Life are the Oneself overflowing with Love; both are real for they are all Oneself. Life is simply the realized dream come true. तत्त्वमसि!
